Litigation Administrative Assistant | Boston | $72K-$105K + Hybrid

Join a Boston-based litigation team where you will support attorneys on a steady flow of general litigation matters, with a strong focus on court filings and case coordination.

This opportunity is suited for an experienced legal administrative assistant who excels at managing filings, deadlines, and high-volume workflows in a structured, deadline-driven environment.

You will support a general litigation practice handling matters in Massachusetts courts. The role is primarily focused on filing, calendaring, and administrative coordination, ensuring that cases move forward efficiently and in compliance with court rules.

The position offers a collaborative team environment and consistent attorney interaction, with a focus on execution, organization, and reliability.

  • Details: Hybrid 3:2 schedule after a structured 90-day training period
  • Compensation: $72,000 to $105,000 per year, depending on experience

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and file legal documents in Massachusetts state courts, with a heavy focus on accurate and timely filings
  • Manage Rule 9A and 9B filings, including formatting, assembly, and submission in accordance with court requirements
  • Track and calendar deadlines, court dates, and filing requirements across multiple litigation matters
  • Support attorneys with litigation coordination, including scheduling and administrative case management
  • Organize case materials and maintain document management systems
  • Coordinate communication with attorneys, court personnel, and external parties related to filings and case logistics
  • Manage multiple matters simultaneously while ensuring deadlines and procedural requirements are met

Qualifications

  • 4+ years of experience supporting attorneys in an active litigation practice
  • Direct experience with Massachusetts court filings, including Rule 9A and 9B procedures
  • Strong understanding of litigation workflows, deadlines, and filing requirements
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage high-volume work and competing priorities
  • Strong administrative and coordination skills in a legal environment
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and document management systems
  • Clear communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team setting
